Seized Fuel Line Connections
Most trucks have a preformed nylon line between the sending unit and the fuel line. There is a quick connector joining the steel fuel line to the preformed nylon line. More often than not, the rust from the fuel line will cause the original connector on the end of the nylon line to seize not allowing removal of the fuel line without destroying the connector. If this is the case, you will need a joiner kit assembly, a piece of nylon line with a new quick connector to attach to the steel fuel line and a nylon union at the other end to attach to the preformed nylon line. You can splice your original nylon line and simply attach the joiner kit with the nylon union.
